Our sales have a reputation for including hot new introductions, hard to find specialty plants, and our favorite reliable performers. This sale has it all. Our horticulturists have been busy creating an amazing plant list including plants from greenhouses and nurseries around the country!

sweet flag

A variegated form of sweet flag with white and green-striped iris-like foliage. Will grow in average to wet garden soils but in the wild it is native to boggy areas. Spreads slowly via rhizomes into a colony. The leaves and rhizomes are fragrant when bruised.

First Snow Japanese clethra

Flowering shrub heavily speckled and spotted with white variegation. Spring and fall often brings tints of pink to foliage and stems. Fragrant spikes of small flowers similar to our native summersweet. Found on Shikoku Island by Mr. Takeda. With age, cinnamon peeling bark can be exceptional.

A rare evergreen climbing form of Mexican Hydrangea with leathery, shiny, laurel-like dense leaves. Pale green bracts enclose the flower bud, opening to reveal domed heads circled by a ring of white florets. It’s slightly tender, so let it climb over a sheltered wall. Blooms July to mid August.
