The JC Raulston Arboretum is a public garden and living laboratory at NC State University. As part of the Department of Horticultural Science, we invite you to explore a diverse plant collection featuring species adapted to the southeastern United States and discover something new in every season.

On occasion, the JC Raulston Arboretum will close early or open late to host special events like Raulston Blooms! and Moonlight in the Garden. Closings will be posted to our website and social media.

The JC Raulston Arboretum is open to the public year-round at no cost. We welcome all visitors to explore the gardens and enjoy our plant collections. Your support through memberships and donations helps us care for the gardens, expand our collections and keep the gates open and free for everyone.
