Other Notes
Frank Frazee started the company in the late 1920s and my grandfather Robert Frazee and his eldest brother Edwin Frazee ran the farm when my great grandfather retired. The area is now occupied by houses. Stuart Mesa was a small farming community prior to USMC’s acquisition of Rancho Margarita. My family stopped farming at Stuart Mesa in 1994 and until last year it was farmed by a tomato grower. Slowly the entire property is being turned into housing for base personnel and their families.
