Spark Healthy Habits That Can Last a Life Time
Young Chefs go from garden to table in this week-long, hands-on gardening/cooking class. Campers prepare morning smoothies from a diverse list of ingredients, learn about growing fresh fruits and veggies at home, participate in daily taste tests, and prepare recipes from scratch.
Basic cooking and gardening skills are covered. Campers are closely supervised as they practice kitchen techniques like slicing, chopping, and using kitchen gadgets.
Enrollment is limited to 12 campers. Campers are provided with daily morning smoothie, five senses tasting snack, and Friday lunch. Campers will need to bring a bagged lunch, Monday through Thursday.
