Tired of winter? Ready for spring? Well, so are we, and we're kicking the season off right with our annual spring plant sale. This year's spring plant sale opens with an online sale and ends with our traditional in-person sale during Raulston Blooms!

Our sales have a reputation for including hot new introductions, hard to find specialty plants, and our favorite reliable performers. This sale has it all. Our horticulturists have been busy creating an amazing plant list including plants from greenhouses and nurseries around the country!

JCRA members shop our sales first. It is our way of saying, "thank you for the continued support." Not a member, join today! We are passionate about connecting people with plants and love our plant-loving community.

Opening and Closing Dates and Times

Opens to Arboretum Members* – Wednesday, April 3, Noon

Opens to the Public – Monday, April 8, 9:00 AM

Closes – Wednesday, April 10, Midnight

*Members will receive an e-mail with a link to ClickBid to shop the online sales. The link to the sale will be available on our home page when it opens to the public on Monday, April 8.

Pickup Dates

Scheduled Plant Sale Pick Ups:

  • Thursday, April 18, Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20, 2024

No shipping. No holding plants.

We do not have capacity to hold plants until our in-person sale or to ship plants. Thank you for understanding.

Rather pick out your plants in person? Come shop the plant sale during Raulston Blooms! Members have early access to the in-person sale during the Members Only Spring Plant Sale on Friday, April 26 from 4:00 pm—7:00 pm. Everyone can shop the in-person sale during Raulston Blooms! on Saturday, April 27.

Raulston Blooms! is a ticketed event. To shop the plant sale on Saturday, you will need to have a ticket to Raulston Blooms! (Free for members, $5.00 for nonmembers, $10.00 per family).

Proceeds from Raulston Blooms! benefit the daily operations of the JC Raulston Arboretum. Raulston Blooms! is sponsored by and fund-raising efforts operate under the auspices of the North Carolina Agricultural Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit (tax ID 56-6049304).
