Join us at the JC Raulston Arboretum for "A Walk in the Winter Garden" as we celebrate the winter season. Festivities begin at 1:00 PM with a Friends of the Arboretum Lecture presented by Judith and Dick Tyler. Travel to Germany, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, and Bosnia with Judith and Dick as they take you on a whirlwind tour to the countries they visited in April 2004 studying hellebore species. "A Walk in the Winter Garden" tours begin at 2:00 PM and will highlight many of the Arboretum's magnificent plants at their peek during the winter months including Japanese flowering apricots, witchhazels, hellebores, conifers, hollies, winter honeysuckles, and many others. The Arboretum is also holding its 2nd Used Garden Book Sale starting at 2:00 PM. Light refreshments will be served.

The JCRA Book and Gift Shop will offer all visitors a 10% discount on a special collection of winter gardening books. In addition, members also receive their 10% membership discount.

Self-guided tour brochures will be made available at the Arboretum throughout February for those unable to attend the guided tours.
