"Ornamental Plant Breeding at NCSU"
Dennis Werner
- Thursday, February 19, 1998 – 8:00 pm–9:30 pm
Plant Chimeras and Variegation. NCSU Professor and home gardener Dennis Werner is changing his research from peach breeding (though he will continue to nurse current peach projects through the pipeline) to ornamental breeding. This is a fabulous development for the ornamentals program at NC State. Dennis will talk about his ornamental breeding program with an emphasis on the different basis for variegation in the plant world.
