The genus Salvia offers countless selections of workhorse plants that can tolerate a diverse range of cultural conditions while providing nectar for pollinators and color in the garden throughout the growing season. Add in the delightfully fragrant foliage particular to the genus and the culinary potential brought about thereby, and you've got an awesome genus of plants that deserves a closer look. Join us as we go Deeper in the Garden and tap into the sagacity of our Research Technician, Tim, while he discusses the history, uses and some notable selections of Salvia for any garden!
