Love Letters to the Garden

When you have a relationship with someone you pay attention to them! You care for them. Make sure they are happy and healthy. Encourage them to be their best. The same is true of a relationship with nature.
When you enjoy the shade of a tree, the fragrance of a flower, the vivid colors of a butterfly, you begin to develop a relationship with it. And that leads to caring for it, tending it, protecting it and sharing it with others.
This February, we invite you to drop off a "Love Letter to the Garden!"
What has the Arboretum meant to you and your children? Did you discover something new here? Make a special memory? Find a new interest? See something unexpected? We'd love to hear your story!
Craft your anonymous love letter and then wander through the garden to drop it in our special mailbox at the Education Yurt. Each note will be read and shared with others . . . perhaps even featured on JCRA's social media pages in the coming weeks.
