Gardening Adventures with Master Gardener Volunteers

"Protecting our Gardens: Companion Planting, Biological, and Structural Controls"
Steve Amerige, Master Gardener Volunteer

  • Monday, July 24, 2023 – 10:00 am11:30 am

Spraying for pests & diseases costs time and money; time we'd rather spend gardening, and money we'd rather spend on plants. If we can maintain ecological balance in our gardens through the removal of undesirable organisms, it stands to reason that we can maintain this same balance through the inclusion of desirable species. Join us for this Extension Master Gardener presentation discussing the inextricable link between companion planting and biological pest control so you can develop the knowledge you need to fill your garden with plants and let the pests take care of themselves!

An exceedingly diverse landscape
