JCRA Family Go! Packs

Take a Child Outside week runs annually from September 24 to September 30. The week is an initiative of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences with the goal of "helping children across the country develop a better understanding and appreciation of the environment in which they live."

Each day will bring a new activity for all ages at the Arboretum. Come for one day or every day of the week!

Sunday: JCRA Family Go! Packs

Introducing a new way to explore the gardens with your family, the JCRA Family Go! Packs. Check out a backpack from our Visitor Center and get ready for an adventure. Each backpack contains a variety of fun, educational tools with a guide for families to use as they explore the gardens.

The JCRA Family Go! Pack is yours to use during your visit, but the backpack and its contents should be returned to the Visitor Center at the end of your visit for the next family.

All ages, but suggested for families with children ages 3 to 10 years old.

Advance registration is not available for this program.
