Plant-lover's Tour

"Bark, Twigs, and the Architecture of Deciduous Woody Plants"
Douglas Ruhren, Gardens Manager

  • Tuesday, January 4, 2022 – 1:00 pm2:30 pm

A look at bark, twigs, and the architecture of deciduous woody plants as an element of winter interest. Colored twigs, twisty twigs, glorious buds. We won't necessarily avert our eyes from flowering plants, though we will strive to focus on the other elements of winter interest.

Ulmus parvifolia 'Frosty'
