7:00 PM – Keynote speaker, Tony Avent, Plant Delights Nursery at Juniper Level Botanic Gardens, presents "Hunter-Gatherer-Propagator—The Wonderful World of Plant Exploration"
8:30 PM – Live auction featuring specially selected plants hosted by Tony Avent

8:00 AM – Breakfast social and silent auction continues
8:30 AM – A sharing of great moments with the entire cast of past directors and interim directors of the JCRA, hosted by JCRA director, Ted Bilderback. Featuring Robert Lyons – Do We Need a Change Order for That? ... Avoiding Head-on Collisions Between Plant Collections and the Hard Hats" and Dennis Werner – "Reflections, Redbuds, and Research" – with highlights from Bryce Lane and Kim Powell.

Hotel Accommodations
A limited number of rooms have been reserved at the Ramada Blue Ridge for $75.00 (single and double rates for September 21). The Ramada is located at 1520 Blue Ridge Road in Raleigh. It's the closest hotel to the JCRA. For more information about the hotel, please visit their Web site. To make a reservation, please call (919) 832-4100 and mention it's for the "CGRUBY" group code and the "Arboretum 10th Anniversary Celebration" group block. Reservations should be made on or before September 11. The Ramada Blue Ridge offers a free hot buffet breakfast to their hotel guests.
