"Beyond Robust Records: Reaping the Rewards of an Accurate and Dynamic Database"

We have derived huge benefits from having an integrated database system that contains accurate information about both our plant and photograph collections. In this lecture, Chris is going to present a behind the scenes look at how we utilize this data to better educate our real and virtual visitors. Some of the uses presented in the lecture will include our Web site (Current Plantings, Now Showing, Showtimes, etc.), Plant Finder kiosk, engraved labels, among many others.

Cost
Free for Friends of the JC Raulston Arboretum members, NC State University students (with ID), and Department of Horticultural Science faculty and staff, all others $5.00.
