As a member, you may take advantage of our very robust membership program designed to connect people with plants.
- All members are invited to put the first Saturday in October on their calendars for our annual Members-only Plant Distribution. Last year we gave over 4,000 plants to members! And if plants aren’t enough, we offer a member seed giveaway.
- Flash your JCRA membership card at over 300 public gardens in North America for special privileges through the Reciprocal Admissions Program.
- Arboretum members get first access to purchase Moonlight in the Garden tickets and register for children’s Summer Camps (for family/dual or higher).
- Connoisseur plants—rare or hard to find—are a special thank you for our members at the Collector, Patron, Founder, Benefactor or Philanthropist level.

Individual, Family/Dual and Explorer Memberships are not tax-deductible. The following amounts of each membership are tax-deductible:
- Collector $125
- Patron $360
- Founder $995
- Benefactor $2175
- Philanthropist $4540
Memberships are not refundable. They are gifts that support the daily operations of the JC Raulston Arboretum.
Note: "JC Raulston Arboretum" will not appear on your credit card statement. Online donations are processed through the North Carolina Agricultural Foundation, Inc., within the Office of College Advancement. Your statement will include a charge from them. "NC STATE GIVING" will appear on your statement.
Fund-raising efforts for the JC Raulston Arboretum operate under the auspices of the North Carolina Agricultural Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, tax id 56-6049304. You will receive an official receipt for the tax-deductible portion of your donation.
