Welcome

The JC Raulston Arboretum is a nationally acclaimed garden with one of the largest and most diverse collections of landscape plants adapted for landscape use in the Southeast. Plants especially adapted to Piedmont North Carolina conditions are collected and evaluated in an effort to find superior plants for use in southern landscapes.

Admission Information: The exhibit is free and open to the public during normal library hours.

This exhibit is one not to be missed. It celebrates the life and work of J. C. Raulston and his unique contributions to the University, his students, and the many colleagues, nursery owners, landscape designers, and gardeners who learned and benefited from his passion to “Plan–and plant for a better world.”
