Tired of winter? Ready for spring? We are, and we're kicking the season off right with a hybrid plant sale (on-site and online). This year's spring plant sale opens with an online sale and ends with our traditional on-site sale during our Raulston Blooms! Spring Festival

Our sales have a reputation for including hot new introductions, hard to find specialty plants, and our favorite reliable performers. This sale has it all. Our horticulturists have been busy creating an amazing plant list including plants from greenhouses and nurseries around the country!

A male selection with squat, wide, toothed, solid green leaves and a slightly shorter habit. We find this to be a very distinct textural addition to the garden.

Aucuba japonica 'Koshiji Nishiki'
Japanese aucuba

This dwarf selection of aucuba has green leaves that are heavily mottled with irregular faint yellow blotches.

Baptisia 'Purple Smoke'
false indigo

An older cultivar that still stands up to the newer ones. Pale lavender flowers and gray stems. Baptisia is an easy to grow, tough as nails, native perennial. Deer resistant and pollinator friendly.

Begonia emeiensis

Features large, green, stubble-covered leaves on petioles and lovely autumn flowers. Hard to believe that this begonia is cold hardy in Raleigh. Requires a well drained soil. May emerge late (May or June).

'Tangerine Beauty' crossvine is a JCRA introduction that is still proving its worth 2 decades after it first appeared on the scene. This evergreen vine is covered with bright deep-orange flowers in spring and will rebloom later in the season.
