Raulston Blooms!

  • Saturday, April 6, 2013 – 10:00 am5:00 pm

This year a new garden festival for the whole family joins an already popular JCRA line up. Now visitors to the annual Spring Plant Sale and Bird House Competition can enjoy food, fun, garden vendors, and educational demos at Raulston Blooms!, a day-long spring celebration on the Arboretum's grounds. From garden, cooking, and health lectures and demonstrations and art and crafts for sale, there'll be something for everyone who loves gardens and growing things on this special Saturday at JCRA. There'll be lots of food—including NC State's own ice cream!

The star of the show, however, will be the Arboretum. As trees begin to leaf out and shrubs burst into flower, early April is a delightful time to discover the beauties of the JCRA.

Let Raulston Blooms! draw you into one of the region's most beautiful gardens and green spaces for a fun-filled, educational day.
