Did you know North Carolina has over 400 different types of soil?
Discover some of these soil types and how they affect plant growth. Participate in soil experiments and learn about erosion control.
- Age
- Suggested age: Children ages six and up.
- Cost
- $10.00 for members, $12.00 for nonmembers.
- Registration

- Cancellation
- Although we understand that unexpected things happen, cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to event will not receive a refund.

- Ruby C. McSwain Education Center, JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State University, 4415 Beryl Road, Raleigh, North Carolina.
