Plants can do more than brighten a space—they can also support our well-being. Join us for this Midweek Program as Greg Paige, our director of horticulture, sits down with Amy Bruzzichesi of NC State Extension to discuss the growing field of therapeutic horticulture.

Together, they'll discuss what therapeutic horticulture is, who it can benefit, and the many ways working with plants can support physical, emotional, and social wellness. Amy will also guide viewers through a simple sensory activity you can try at home to experience some of the restorative benefits for yourself.

Whether you're a gardener, plant lover, caregiver, or simply curious about the connection between people and plants, this thoughtful conversation offers fresh insight into the healing power of nature.
