The smartphone is the camera many people have with them at all times. The lenses and native camera app integrated with these phones has advanced with each phone generation, making it worthy of our attention as a legitimate camera.

In this session, you'll learn about basic iPhone camera app functionality like focusing in a specific place, adjusting image brightness, shooting in bursts for action and adjusting background blurriness in portrait mode. In addition, Mary Louise will discuss how to access editing and image sharing functionality in the app. Finally, she will share some practical tips for achieving great looking photos. Most of our time will be spent in the classroom, but at the end of the class, weather permitting, we can practice in the JCRA gardens.
This class is suitable for iPhone 13 or newer iPhone models. This class has been updated to include the latest iPhone 17 model. Make sure to bring your smartphone to use during the class.
