"The Winter Garden"
Evan Villani, Research Technician

  • Tuesday, February 3, 2026 – 1:00 pm2:00 pm

Love plants? So do we! Join us for this Plant-Lover's Tour where our Research Technician Evan will explore the many ways beauty shows up in the garden during winter. Together we'll explore the arboretum, seeking out plants that offer interest this time of year, whether through flowers, foliage, bark, structure, or the lasting traces of last year's growth. You'll encounter a mix of familiar favorites and unexpected discoveries that demonstrate how diverse and dynamic winter gardens can be. However winter expresses itself that day, this tour promises to expand how you see plants—and broaden your sense of what makes this season so beautiful.
