As the season winds down, gardeners face a familiar dilemma: tidy up for a neat look, or leave things standing for the sake of wildlife? In this program, our Gardening Guru Tim Alderton draws on decades of experience to walk you through the many choices gardeners face in autumn. From planting, transplanting, and dividing perennials to mulching and managing pests and diseases, he'll weigh the pros and cons of different approaches and share what really matters this time of year. Whether you prefer a polished landscape or a wilder look, you'll come away with practical insights to guide your autumn garden decisions — and a better understanding of how to make thoughtful choices as winter approaches.
