Dreaming of a new garden bed but not sure where to begin? This week on the Midweek Program, join Sophia and Evan for a practical and inspiring guide to planning your next great planting project.

A recently planned and planted new garden

From assessing sun exposure and soil conditions to thinking through plant combinations and long-term design goals, Evan and Sophia will walk you through the process of turning a blank space into a thriving, beautiful garden. They'll share tips on using tools to map out your space, offer advice on where to begin, and talk about the importance of creating a plan that leaves room for growth—literally.

You’ll also learn why there’s no such thing as an instant garden, and how thoughtful planning over five years can set you up for success as your landscape evolves. Whether you’re starting from scratch or simply reimagining a tired corner of your yard, this program will give you the confidence (and realistic expectations!) to dig in and start growing.
