Do you admire handmade cards? Join JCRA volunteer and artist, Debra Singer-Harter, to have fun making whimsical flower art even if you have no drawing or painting experience!

artistically painted red and orange flowers

Let's have fun creating cards with colorful landscapes. We will paint gardens and mountain scenes. The evergreen trees are coming to their glory keeping their leaves all year. Trees with leaves that change and drop are shining in yellows, oranges and reds. You don 't have to be an artist to paint them both as a portrait and in the landscape.

You will begin with lines both long and short and learn how to blend one color into another color to create colorful tree tops and backgrounds. We will provide three blank cards, watercolor paint and brush. You will paint on the card stock and learn how to blend the colors to create your own style. Each student can make three cards during this two hour session

Can't make it Friday afternoon? Join Debra on Saturday morning, September 6 at 10 am for a repeat of Art and Blooms at the JCRA - Autumn Trees and Landscapes.
