Day Trip to Hoffman Nursery

Back by popular demand, the JCRA is taking a day trip! Join us for a visit to Hoffman Nursery, THE wholesale ornamental grass nursery for the east coast (and beyond). We will meet at the JCRA at 9:00 am before hopping into vans and heading over to Rougemont, NC to visit the nursery. David Hoffman will give us a tour of the Hoffman display garden emphasizing the variety and diversity of ornamental grasses, rushes and sedges.

Hoffman Nursery is a wholesale nursery that isn't open to the public, so this may be your only opportunity to see this display garden and learn about ornamental grasses from a foremost expert in the field. Don't miss this opportunity to broaden your horticultural horizons, visit a new garden, and deepen your understanding and appreciation for ornamental grasses!

Note: due to the logistical difficulties of coordinating a plant order from a wholesale nursery on behalf of a collective of individuals, we will not be offering the opportunity to purchase plants on this trip. Thank you for understanding!

$25.00 per participant

Registration

Advance registration is required. Register through our online registration store.

Registration is limited to 20 people and is considered complete when payment is received. You will receive a confirmation receipt from notify@cashnet.com when registered.

Cancellation

Program cancellations can be made up to two weeks prior to the program's start date. No refunds will be made after this time. A 15% cancellation fee applies.

Location

The tour departs from the JC Raulston Arboretum at 4415 Beryl Road.
