Step away from the stresses of daily life and immerse yourself in the restorative embrace of nature. Led by certified Forest Therapy Guide Shawn Ramsey, this two-hour guided experience invites you to slow down, awaken your senses and discover a deeper connection with the natural world.

Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku (Forest Bathing) and backed by science, this experience is designed to promote stress reduction, improved mood and enhanced well-being.

As you journey through JC Raulston Arboretum's unique urban forest, you'll be guided through mindfulness practices and nature-inspired invitations, encouraging presence, relaxation and a renewed sense of wonder. Through gentle, intentional engagement with the environment, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Experience deep relaxation as you move at a slower, more mindful pace.
  • Engage your senses to fully take in the sights, sounds and scents of the forest.
  • Find moments of stillness and connection—both with yourself and the living world around you.

This is more than a walk in the woods—it's an immersive, restorative journey designed to nourish your mind, body and spirit. Come as you are, and leave feeling refreshed, inspired and deeply connected to nature's wisdom.

Can't attend on a Saturday morning? Try our Friday afternoon, March 21 at 1:30 pm guided forest therapy experience!
