Evening Garden Stroll

Join us for our monthly Evening Garden Stroll and savor the tranquil atmosphere of the JC Raulston Arboretum as dusk settles. Whether you seek connection, a moment for reflection, or simply a chance to recharge amidst the beauty of nature, our extended evening hours offer a unique experience. You can also take advantage of the special activities featured in May.

Browse our Pop-up Plant Sale on the Great Lawn, starting at 4:30 pm.If you weren't able to make it to our spring plant sales last month, this is an excellent opportunity to browse a curated selection of plants and discover wonderful additions for your garden. Please note that a specific plant list is not available, so come ready to explore the unique treasures we'll be featuring alongside our fully stocked Plant Sale Stand. Carts and volunteer plant shuttlers will be available to assist you.

Immerse yourself in a new way of connecting with nature through our free Forest Bathing mini-sessions. Led by certified Forest Therapy Guide Shawn Ramsey, these sessions will take place in the serene setting of the Japanese Garden at 5:45 pm and 6:15 pm. Volunteers will lead a free public tour of the JCRA will depart from the Bobby G. Wilder Visitor Center at 5:30 pm. The gardens will remain open until 7:30 pm.
