We love talking to our fellow plant nerds! Gerry Donnelly is the former president and CEO of the Morton Arboretum just outside of Chicago, a massive and world renowned arboretum appropriately dubbed 'The Champion of Trees '. For over 30 years, Gerry was instrumental in the growth and development of the Morton Arboretum, enhancing its capacity for public outreach while strengthening its involvement in research and scientific inquiry. Join us for this Garden Conversation where our Director, Mark, will sit down with Gerry and talk about the critical role public gardens play in enriching our communities, the important contributions our organizations can make to our understanding of ecology & climate and of course, trees!
