Do you ask lots of questions? How can I tell if a plant is getting enough light? Is sunlight the best light to use or can I use a lamp? How does photosynthesis work, anyway? Why do some plants have small leaves but others are huge?

Experiments are a fun way to look for an answer to a question or to test an idea. You may be surprised to find that you are more than able to answer many of the questions you have by yourself or together with friends.

Join us for Garden Science this fall where together, we’ll design and complete a variety of hands-on plant experiments to learn about the scientific method and shed new light on our plant questions!

Garden Science is a series of programs for students to dive deeper into a garden topic. Each week's program is a stand alone program, but it's more fun to come to all of them! Meet new friends and spend some time in the garden learning.
