Friends of the Arboretum Lecture

"A Walk in the Park"

Central Park, Battery Park, and the High Line, New York City; are outstanding horticultural destinations if you are in the City. Come visit these parks for a behind the scenes tour guided by city planners, garden directors and staff during the September 2010 International Plant Propagators Society, International Board tour. Plants, urban planning, and highly utilized aesthetic spaces in the city environment will be discussed.

Cost
Free for Friends of the JC Raulston Arboretum members, NC State University students (with ID), and Department of Horticultural Science faculty and staff, all others $5.00.
