Deeper in the Garden

"Why We Gather Seed"

Did you know the JCRA has a dedicated team of around 6 volunteers that scour our garden every single week to collect, clean, and catalogue seed? That's a preposterous amount of time and labor, particularly when you consider that we're just giving away most of the seed we're collecting. So why do we go through all this effort? Join us as we go Deeper in the Garden and talk with our Curator, Dennis, and our Seed Collection Team Leader, Mary Leonhardi, to discuss the importance of seed collecting and the Index Seminum at the JCRA.
