Just imagine a day spent visiting one of the most exotic and unspoiled spots in the world and then retiring to a luxury ship for a gourmet meal while floating downriver listening to the Buddhist chants as the sun sets.
Your journey begins in the town of Siem Reap, where you explore the history and culture of the Khmer empire as seen in the breathtaking ruins of Angkor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll also explore the natural environment of the jungle that once hid these archeological treasures. From Siem Reap, you will cruise the Mekong River, traveling through remote villages and witnessing the rural life of Cambodia. Your gorgeous river ship, the first class, old world, RV Bassac Pandaw, balances traditional style with modern comfort. The journey culminates in the vibrant city of Saigon.
