We love talking to our fellow plant nerds! Dr. John Dole is a professor in the Department of Horticultural Science at NC State, where he's served as Director of Graduate Programs, Department Head, and interim dean for the College of Agriculture and Life Science. His research has focused mainly on the production and postharvest physiology of floriculture crops, but he's also passionate about increasing educational access for students interested in working with plants, and he has a soft spot in his heart for butterflies. Join us for this Garden Conversation, where our Curator, Dennis Carey, sits down with John to talk all about cut-flowers, education, and all things plants!
