"Grassy Plants"
Tim Alderton

  • Wednesday, October 18, 2023 – 3:00 pm3:30 pm

Ornamental grasses are phenomenal, low-maintenance plants for the landscape that provide countless ecological services, not just for wildlife, but for our soils and waterways as well. Of course, discussing only grasses would be incredibly unfair to all the marvelous rushes and sedges in our collection that fill similar niches and are every bit as functional and beautiful. Join us for this Midweek Program where our Research Technician, Tim goes Deeper in the Garden and shows off some of our favorite Grassy Plants!
