"Big Honkin' Trees"

Big trees are the foundational cornerstones of our gardens and provide the visual structure upon which all of our plantings depend. Rather than focusing on the small to medium sized trees that fit so nicely into our established gardens, today we're going Deeper in the Garden and giving our regards to the Big Honkin' Trees that hold everything together. Join Greg Paige, our Director of Horticulture and Tree Nut in Residence, as he espouses the virtues of overstory trees and spotlights some of the most estimable specimens in our gardens!
