"Reducing Deer Damage in the Landscape"
Cindy Chappell, Extension Master Gardener Volunteer of Wake County

  • Monday, May 22, 2023 – 10:00 am11:30 am

For some of us, reducing deer damage in the garden is as simple as planting plants that deer find unpalatable. For others of us, no matter how many "deer-proof" plants we put in our garden, the deer just keep coming back for more. When a deer population reaches a high enough density no plant is off the menu and our defensive tactics need a bit more nuance. Join us for this Master Gardener presentation enumerating which plants to try out when the deer come a-knocking, and how to step up your security when your deer eventually acquire a taste for ferns.
