Deeper in the Garden

"Rain Gardens"
Douglas Ruhren, Gardens Manager, JC Raulston Arboretum

  • Wednesday, May 18, 2022 – 3:00 pm3:45 pm

Rain gardens are depressed planted gardens in landscapes that help collect rainwater from impervious surfaces. They help slow down the rainwater entering streams and in the process help to clean it, too. In this week's midweek program, we're discussing the Arboretum's rain gardens and highlighting some of our favorite plants to include in them.
