Midweek with Mark

"Beyond Camellia japonica—The Other Camellias and Their Relatives"
Mark Weathington, Director

  • Wednesday, November 18, 2020 – 3:00 pm4:00 pm

When most gardeners think of camellias, they think of Camellia japonica and Camellia sasanqua. Tea connoisseurs likely know the story about Camellia sinensis, the tea camellia. However, there are many more species of camellias. There are at least 100 species and thousands of cultivars and hybrids. Join Mark this week for a discussion about camellias other than Camellia japonica and their relatives.
