Join us virtually for the 2020 Landscape Color and Professional Field Day for a morning filled with helpful information for green industry professionals about the JC Raulston Arboretum's 2020 Color Trials. Douglas Ruhren, gardens manager, and Bernadette Clark, bedding plant trials coordinator, will take participants on a virtual tour of the 2020 color trials while discussing their favorites and how they can be used in the landscape. Additionally, we'll watch messages from companies that participated in this year's trials including a special message announcing the 2020 winners for 2021 from All-America Selections.

About Bernadette Clark, Bedding Plant Trials Coordinator

Bernadette Clark is the JC Raulston Arboretum's bedding plant trials coordinator. She has managed the trials for decades. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for gardening with bedding plants with visitors and green industry professionals alike.

About Douglas Ruhren, Gardens Manager

Douglas Ruhren has been the gardens manager at the JC Raulston Arboretum for almost three years. He has worked as a volunteer at the Arboretum for nearly 30. He has worked in many other private and public gardens and has worked with nearly all groups of plants and especially values annuals for the work horses that they are in providing color in the landscape.

Continuing Education Credit

Continuing education credit has been applied for through the NC Landscape Contractors ' Licensing Board. No more than two hours of credit will likely be approved. Since this is an online program, professional participants will need to take a short quiz to prove their attendance after the program concludes.
