Plantsmen's Tour

"New Plantings from 2017 and 2018"
Mark Weathington, Director

  • Tuesday, November 6, 2018 – 1:00 pm2:30 pm

The first sentence of the JC Raulston Arboretum's mission begins with "The mission of the JC Raulston Arboretum is to introduce, display, and promote plants that diversify the American landscape." We do this by continuously evaluating new plants. New plants come to us through a variety of ways including breeding programs, wild collections, new-to-us discoveries, chance sports, etc. Discover some of our favorite new plantings from the last two years on this tour with Mark Weathington.
