School's Out!
Terrific Terrariums

Are your students out of school with nothing to do? Let them spend the day with us at the Arboretum for a School's Out! drop off program.
No textbooks are needed for this School's Out program. We will stay warm by exploring how plants stayed warm on those treacherous ocean voyages during Colonial days. Students will also get to explore the water cycle as they build their own terrarium to take home and enjoy until spring arrives!
This program is open to current 2nd through 5th graders. Students need to bring a lunch and snack. There may be outdoor portions of this program. Please have your student bring clothes for going outside.
Advance registration is required since space is limited to 12 students.

- $55.00 per child for member families, $70.00 for nonmembers

- Cancellation
- Although we understand that unexpected things happen, cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to event will not receive a refund.

- Ruby McSwain Education Center, JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State University, 4415 Beryl Road, Raleigh, North Carolina.
