JCRA Benefit Provider Highlight—Lasting Impressions

By Arlene Calhoun, Volunteer and Membership Care Coordinator

Beth Jimenez and Amelia Lane, Lasting Impressions, believe beautiful and creative gardens are made of more than great plants. They encourage you to brighten your garden year round by providing unique and colorful places to water the birds or highlight a special plant in a hypertufa trough or faux bois planter.

Beth and Amelia are the creators of unique concrete leaves, globes, and hypertufa troughs. Their leaf sculptures are installed at the JC Raulston Arboretum and many private gardens. As a JCRA Benefit Provider, they extend a 10% discount to our members for their hand-cast concrete leaves and hypertufa troughs.

Want a more hands-on experience? Sign up for their hypertufa trough workshop or cast concrete leave workshop on Saturday, July 26.

Want to see their work in person? Join them at their 8th Annual Open Garden and Art Show featuring their creations in addition to those of ten other area artists on Saturday, April 19, 2014, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

A special thanks to all of our 2014 Benefit Providers who extend discounts that help your membership to pay for itself! Just show your JC Raulston Arboretum membership card before you start your checkout transaction.
