Student Internship Program

The JC Raulston Arboretum Student Internship Program has proven to be a real win-win opportunity for both the worthy young people chosen to serve as JCRA interns and for the Arboretum. Through this program, your gifts can truly make an impact on a young person's life by giving them real-life work experience at a botanic garden. There are also three named JCRA internship endowments—Dr. Robert E. Lyons JCRA Internship Endowment,  Isabella Cannon Endowed Arboretum Internship, and the Dale and Thom Henderson Internship Endowment. Summer internships at the garden are offered to horticulture, education and nonprofit studies students. Watch our home page for applications in January/February. Or send an email to jcraprograms@ncsu.edu for more information about our summer internship opportunities in Raleigh.

If you are interested in naming an endowed internship in honor or memory of a loved one, or leaving a personal legacy gift, please contact Alycia Thornton, director of development, at (919) 513-7068 or alycia_thornton@ncsu.edu.
