"Cut Flower Workshop"

  • Sunday, May 19, 2013 – 2:00 pm3:30 pm

Something is always in bloom at the Arboretum! In our Cut Flower Workshop, children will learn about the flowers in the Arboretum and get to take some home!

After learning the parts of a flower and why plants have flowers, children will find out how to properly cut flowers while cutting flowers from the Arboretum for a flower bouquet. We will also talk about how to achieve the longest vase life and maybe find out the meaning of each flower.

Each participant will leave with their bouquet of flowers to enjoy at home!
