Tribute gifts are a thoughtful way to celebrate a birthday, wedding, graduation, or any special occasion. They also serve as a special expression of sympathy by honoring the memory of a friend or relative. Tributes or memorial gifts can honor someone you admire, respect, or want to remember in a meaningful way, such as a family member, a mentor, a coworker, or a friend who has made a special impact on your life.

Tribute Benches

Tribute bench gifts help to provide additional seating for visitors while supporting the care and maintenance of our gardens, plant collections, and programs. Donors and families have the opportunity to customize a plaque to be placed on either a teak or stone bench. 

Engraved Bricks

Engraved brick gifts support the JCRA Endowment for Excellence, plus inscribed bricks are a great way to show your support of the Arboretum while honoring a special loved one.

Memorial Gifts

Memorial gifts may support a variety of JCRA programs, such as the Student Internship Program, the Children's Program, or plant collections. Families may designate that gifts be used toward a specific JCRA program. All memorial gift donors (not gift amounts) are acknowledged to the family by the JCRA unless specified as anonymous.

Making a Memorial Gift

Memorial donations can be made in honor of your loved one and sent to the JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State University, Campus Box 7522, Raleigh, NC 27695-7522.
